The Puerto Rico Exodus 2.0
Due to the recent hurricane, the residents of the island had their livelihoods decimated and are looking for a fresh start on the mainland of the US. There are roadblocks, hurdles, and unseen factors to face which amount to a monumental exodus of unprecedented type proportions. In an effort to start a new life and become a part of a new existence where their families can prosper, many of the island residents are willing to risk everything and lay the groundwork for a new future. Many are armed with nothing more than a promised US citizenship which was granted to them under the Jones-Shafroth Act which integrated the nation into The USA back on March 2, 1917.
